Virginia Maria Romero ~ Poet/Artist

Take my hand

we will cry this river

of grief

and gather flowers

along its fertile shore…

A short but concise poem, a connection of individual to spirit. Sometimes few words are needed to express more than can be understood by words alone. The lines speak of the human struggles, and the seeking of something larger than ourselves in coping with and understanding our condition in life. The opening line “Take my hand”... speaks of something outside us, yet connected to us naturally, yet intrinsically ours naturally. The following lines continue the theme of sharing the burdens in life, comforted by a trusted friend.
