Virginia Maria Romero ~ Poet/Artist

Growing Old (dedicated to Wild Bill & Wild Vic)

Summers bloom, gives way to rich hues of autumn

       to rough and weathered landscapes…

faces creased,

like rugged dirt roads that meander across the land,

    reveal places

         distance traveled…

with eyes

         that speak

              of an impending journey…

Once again Virginia pens lines of poetry for Wild Bill & Wild Vic. Words that speak of age and wisdom, seen in earthly form, in remembrance of two souls no longer part of the earthly realm. A simple yet richly expressed vision of how the memory of loved ones leave traces of their spiritual essence on the landscape for those that remember them to glimpse, when viewing from the heart.
